The new MAC OSX 'Tiger' came out today, i live near a mall with an Apple store are they were having a 'Tiger Release Party' from 6 to midnight. It wasn't a party, they handed out raffle tickets and you win a free itunes song if not anything else. So, hoping for free stuff i get there only to find around 200 people lined up waiting to get in the store. The line stretched in to the parking lot. Sadly, didn't get to win anything except the free song.The Tiger doesn't come with iLife but the good news is that you can get the Tiger for just $69.99 with a student discount, a lot cheaper than paying $150 bucks.
So, the day goes on and i come back to find my room-mate making some good 'ol fish n chips. The fish turned out pretty good but as soon as he got to frying chips the whole stove caught fire and we nearly burned down our kitchen. Luckily, we were able to put it out and that was about it. On a more nicer note, my last post has led to 1500 hits a day for the past 3-4 days ! And i got AB-baby to thank for that.
