Now India might take 'action' against YouTube

The Govt. of India lost its marbles again along with a large part of the media in Delhi. Apparently, civil strife in Bangladesh, the Iraqi Surge, the horrific serial murders in Delhi only add up to a slow news day there, so most of the channels started carrying an obscure video from youtube as headline news. In an effort to piss off people and get them outraged enough to switch to their dumb channels, they started showing this skinny guy's youtube video as headline news. This yoga teacher/clown/(lame) budding comedian from New York, does a routine where he dresses up as Gandhi toting an AK-47 among other antics.

No one had ever heard of this man, wouldn't have probably ever have. But, thanks to a slow news day and a government having nothing better to do, this man is now India's enemy number one for a couple of more news cycles. The only thing more hilarious and ridiculous are the comments people left on the new sites. Its about time Indians became more secure and mature to understand that dumb videos, jokes or whatever else doesn't diminish a great man like Gandhi, forgeting his principles does. Its been tought for YouTube lately first Brazil, now India.

UPDATE: NDTV reports that there were protests and effigy burning in the city of Bhubaneswar, that poor guy, his comedic career might have just ended. This is like the people who protested against New Year's Eve parties in Calcutta recently, stating that they are against the Indian culture. Too many unemployed or too many stupid?

Well I guess that it's combination of having really stupid and unemployed people. They just need an excuse to burn effigies and go on strike.

Same holds true for the ministers as well.Banning Youtube, it doesn't get siller.
